Yes, that’s right! Rhonda Byrne! Why? I will tell you why! 3 weeks ago I had an issue with my tooth, I had to start on antibiotics and pain killers for a few days, then went to the dentist to find out that I need a root canal. Not 2 weeks later the tooth on the other side started acting up! Well you can imagine my surprise at this, especially considering I almost never have issues with my teeth! So I start back on antibiotics and pain killers, today is day #4 of round the clock pain killers and antibiotics ( yes I wake up twice every night to take pain killers and antibiotics). **And I do not like to take any drugs! So am not used to what it does to my body at all !
Anyway, when I awoke this morning, after 4 days of this, I was feeling pretty crappy. And to top it off even though I can’t eat anything other than soup and crackers I have gained 4 pounds, probably due to all the sodium and white flour from a diet of soup and crackers! I feel nauseous and just all around YUK.
So I push myself to get up and go to my computer to get some school work done. I see Rhonda Byrne’s book “The Power” sitting on the table. I pick it up and start reading it. I randomly flipped through the pages reading this and that….reading quotes like:
“Whenever your feeling is in conflict with your wish, feeling will be the victor.” ~Neville Goddard
“This world is but a canvas to our imaginations.” ~ Henry David Thoreau
“Love is the greatest power on earth. It conquers all things.” ~ Peace Pilgrim
But especially quotes like these….
” Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease.” ~ Hippocrates
“Keep your mind as much as you can from dwelling on your ailment. Think of strength and power and you will draw it to you. Think of health and you get it.” ~ Prentice Mulford
By the time I finish reading these quotes and few well written passages from Rhonda herself, I am feeling so much better! This is just what I needed! A kick in my positive rear end to get back in the right frame of mind! I will feel better after I feel better!
And it is working!
So, today I am grateful for Rhonda Byrne and her book The Power for reminding me what it is that I need to do to help me feel better now!
Peace and Love~ Christine
